Texas State Graduate becomes CEO in newly merged oil and gas company

Effective Jan. 4, Doral Energy Corp. and Pure Energy Group have merged to create Cross Border Resources Inc. It is an oil and gas company that owns rights to more than 800,000 gross mineral and lease acres within New Mexico.

The Cross Border Resources Inc. management team will include Texas State University graduate Everett Willard Gray II, Mark Stark and Lawrence J. Risley. Everett Willard Gray II will be Chairman and CEO of Cross Border Resources Inc.

Gray received his bachelor of science in business management from Texas State University. While attending Texas State, Gray was a member of the golf team, earning Southland Conference All-Academic Honors, as well as being a member of the Southland Conference Golf Championship team. Gray currently resides in Midland/Odessa, where he was born and raised.
