Bobcat blogs to buy a Buick

Tony Zamora, a senior at Texas State University, is blogging for a Buick.

Inspired by other online fundraising success stories, the McAllen, Texas, native hopes to purchase a Buick Lacrosse with help from online donations made through a widget on his blog, Tony’s Ride to College.

“I have seen the power and generosity of people coming together on the Internet to make dreams come true. I know that this is not impossible,” Zamora wrote in his first post.

“Having a vehicle would mean so much to me. It would mean being able to drive 4-5 hours from my school to my hometown to visit my parents. It would me being able to find a job near campus that I can drive to and from.”
