Sister entrepreneurs market beauty and brains

Sisters Taylor and Hailey Brandt, both graduates of Texas State University, have put their heads together to offer online retail therapy to the MD crowd.

The two have launched an e-commerce website, www.thegirldoc.com, targeted at women medical doctors.

Taylor Brandt, who is finishing her residency in internal medicine, claims the product development role in the start-up while Hailey Brandt is responsible for marketing the business.

“We have launched this new website for smart women celebrating our accomplishments, providing us with hard to find items that we can really use,” Taylor Brandt states on the website.
